Updates....

Well, I once said I would update monthly on what we've been up to...so much for that, huh? It's been a while since I've written an update on all of us...several months at least! :) So here we go!

Kate is now 10 months old and as wonderful as can be! She has a slight obsession with going after kiddos who are littler than her! :) She is definitely opinionated and she is not afraid to let others know what she thinks about things! :) She is crawling EVERYWHERE!!!!! She has discovered her brothers' room and loves to go in there and mess with whatever she can find! She is truly a joy everyday and her smile really lights up a room!!!!

Daniel has just 3 1/2 months to go of being at a babysitter's during the day. He is going to head off to preschool in the fall and I just have a very hard time imagining this! He still loves to "nuggle (snuggle!)" and he has such a sparkle that you just can't stay mad at! He has recently discovered Chris's Kid Tough camera and LOVES playing with it all the time! He will open a door, stick his arm in the room, snap a quick picture and then close the door quickly and run away! We have plenty of pictures of the insides of closets and rooms where you can't really make anything out but he thinks it's fantastic!!!!

Chris is doing well in school. He has been reading up a storm and passing AR quizzes left and right! He is quickly growing up and I wish I could just make time stand still! He is full of ideas on how to solve things or do things better and loves to help out with his little sister! He has all of the sudden developed quite the opinion about how his hair is cut and what he wears...becoming very grown up!!!! He is VERY excited about Valentine's Day! He has been picking out cards and gifts for all sorts of people...a very giving young man!!!!

Greg and I are doing well too...our jobs are going well...the house is going well (it could probably stand to be cleaner but some days...what can you do?)...everything is just going well! :) We are very blessed...

The Many Faces of Kate....

Her "I really would love to have some of those!" Face. This could also be the "What in the world are you doing?" Face.

Her "I LOVE YOU and I'm Happy" Face.

Her "I'm starting to get upset with you" Face. This is most often used when she's not getting what she wants but isn't seriously upset about anything....yet.

Her "I'm not getting what I would really like" Face. In this case it was some more of her fruit puffs!

Her "I'm really upset and you are DEFINITELY going to hear about it" Face! Again...the puffs weren't there fast enough! :)

All of these faces happened in a 5 minute span of time! :) I tell ya...this girl is going to give us a run for our money!!!!! :)

Still Out Here!

Just a quick note to say that we are still out here! :) Not much is going on right now except for our normal day to day stuff! Going to work, coming home, hanging out with my kids, etc...it's our daily routine! :)

On a more positive note...

Today Chris brought home a facts sheet from school that he has to do for homework tonight. This is a first for him...and one he is quite proud of! :) He told me that he also brought home a new AR book and he would love to read it to me! How sweet and how fantastic....how big he is getting!

Daniel was thrilled to see the President on the TV on Tuesday! :) He's still talking about how he "saw the President on the TB!" Way too cute!

And Ms. Kate...well...she is all over creation these days! :) I also am getting better at fixing her hair on the mornings she's up and ready to go before I leave for school!

So really...no matter what happens during the day...no matter what happens at school, after school, anything...my family is my positive. I was so cranky last night I had a hard time remembering that....I won't let that happen again!

One of those days....

So today has been a day I would love to start over...it was rough at school, it has been rough at home, it has been rough with family and it was rough at church. Just rough on my nerves, my patience, everything....

I was going to try and post something more upbeat and positive because that's what I try to keep things at on here but today it's just not possible...perhaps tomorrow will be a better day and there will be something more fantastic to write about! :)

Hope you have had a better day than me and I will be back on tomorrow with a better post...I promise!
